How has Oakcliff helped you in my development:
I came to Oakcliff in 2016 as a Sapling with an open mind and a willingness to work hard to gain entry to this industry at the highest level. I knew my way around a boat more or less with pretty weak skills at first but after the summer I became a confident pushpit to pulpit sailor. Sailing in all disciplines of the sport at Oakcliff, I found my passion in offshore sailing and short handed sailing which has made me an extremely competent sailor able to multitask and have my head outside the boat, as well as inside. With the sailing skills, I also became competent in all shore related skills including sail making, rigging, composites, painting and equipment management. I became the boat captain of one of our Turbo Farr 40s as well as Weegie, a Columbia Carbon 32. I continue to develop at Oakcliff everyday on the water and in the shop.
